Mr. Dortimi Kester Tawari is a graduate of Laws (LL.B Hons) Obafemi Awolowo University, lle-Ife and called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989. He holds a Masters Degree in International Relations (M.Sc. Int’l Relations) from the University of Benin. Mr. Tawari is armed with well over 30 year Post Call Experience and having worked as a Private Legal Practitioners, Legal Adviser in the past, experience in Knowledge and Corporate Re-engineering, Developmental Issues and familiar with compliance, law and Corporate Governance.

His work experience is quite vast, attesting to his versatility and dedication to duty in the various positions he has been privileged to occupy. He began his working career briefly with Olisa Agbakoba & Associates and then Civil Liberties Organization, Lagos. Mr. Tawari had also held different positions in the corporate world. He was Head of Recovery Unit of the defunct All states Trust Bank; then Head, Legal and Risk Management at Resort Savings and Loans Limited, Lagos from which he joined Emo Oil and Petrochemical Limited as Executive Secretary to the Chairman/CEO on Energy and Mining and then GM. He answered the call to serve his nation in 2012 as the Emo Ashapura Energy and Mining Limited, Abuja. Personnel/Head, of the Post Training and Engagements Unit, Amnesty Programme, in the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, for the sustainable Reintegration / Alternative Livelihood Support He was appointed Chief Operating Officer Programme for Ex-Militants.
